Description
This course is the prerequisite for Bronze Cross.
You'll learn tows and carries, and defense methods and releases in preparation for challenging rescues involving conscious and unconscious victims.
A timed 500 metre swim is included.
Prerequisites: You must be at least 13 years old to participate. Bronze Star is recommended, but not required, so long as participants are 13 years of age or older.
Location
The Oshawa Y is a family-friendly centre offering child care, health and fitness services, and community programming. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. On-site parking is available free for members.

Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
