ORCKA Moving Water 1A or greater is a prerequisite for this course.
Run at Camp Pine Crest, ORCKA Style Paddling 1A & Canoe Tripping 3 is a 5-day course teaching paddling and canoe tripping skills. Arrival for the course is in the evening on May 19th - this will allow you to settle in at camp before the course start on the morning of the 20th. Room and board are included in the course price, as are group camping gear and trip food. We have canoes, paddles and PFD's available for you to use, but you are equally welcome to bring your own. Day 1 of the course will be spent at Pine Crest completing Style Paddling 1A, a prerequisite for Canoe Tripping 3. The remaining 4 days will be spent on trip for the CT3 cert. This course involves a canoe trip down the Musquash R. Instructed by Marty Tannahill and Gilles Miron.
