Description
Bronze Star certification course participants develop swimming proficiency, lifesaving skill and personal fitness. Participants will refine their stroke mechanics, acquire self-rescue skills, and apply fitness principles in training workouts. Bronze Star is excellent preparation for success in Bronze Medallion and provides a fun introduction to lifesaving sport. Participants will also learn basic first aid skills.
Location
This family-friendly centre offers health and fitness services designed to help people of all ages get active, as well as child care and community-building programs. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. A large, private lot on-site provides free parking for members.

Please bring a bathing suit, goggles and towel each day.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Participant who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 10% of the course fee. Participant who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
