Description
This is the final course to take to become a certified Lifeguard. You must have completed Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid before enrolling in this course.
The National Lifeguard (NL) certification is the industry standard for professional lifeguards in Canada. NL guards are water rescue professionals trained in emergency care. They prevent accidents, spot potential trouble and intervene before it becomes life-threatening. Prerequisite age 15 years, Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid with CPR C
Location
The Mississauga Y offers a large health and fitness centre with a newly renovated conditioning room, extensive youth and community programs, and child care services. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year. Free parking is available on-site for members.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
