Day Camp
Description
Eco-Adventure focuses on outdoor skill development and natural arts and science. Campers will forage for natural art material, develop bush craft skills, and participate in eco-science activities while learning about native species. Campers have the opportunity to earn the following Outdoor Skill Buttons; archery, fire building, knot tying and slacklining. To compliment this program, campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities.
Location
Y Day Camp utilizes Terra Cotta Conservation Area to deliver a variety of outdoor programs. This location has access to a pavillion, hiking and biking trails, and green space. Programs operate outdoors rain or shine! Campers will swim off site at a nearby community pool. Camp operates 9:00am – 4:00pm. Extended hours are available on site from 7:30 - 9:00am and 4:00 - 6:00pm for an additional fee of $50/week. Bussing is available for $100/week round trip. Government Child Care Subsidy
If you currently attend YMCA Child Care and receive Government Child Care Subsidy, please continue to register online. Your account will be adjusted to reflect this at billing. Continuing to register will secure your child’s space until the YMCA receives confirmation from your local municipality.
Children who receive Government Child Care Subsidy and are interested in attending day camp programming may register for any day camp program that does not include an overnight component. We encourage families to select a different program each week when registering for multiple weeks.
NOTE: Families using City of Toronto child care subsidy must start and end their day (AM and PM) at a licensed Extended Hours program for the weeks they are registered for camp.

The YMCA reserves the right to amend your child’s registration to the approved municipal rate. If we are unable to receive confirmation of your assisted rate, your child’s registration will be adjusted to be charged the full program fee.

Description
Extended hours start as early as 7:30am and end as late as 6:00pm. Hours do vary by location. Children will be provided with a nutritious snack and engage in small group activities as they wind down from their active day at YMCA Day Camp. To Register, child must have an active registration in a YMCA Before & After School Program.
*Programs will be closed on July 1 and August 5, 2024. Weekly fees are inclusive of statutory holidays.

The YMCA reserves the right to amend a Registrant’s registration if we are unable to confirm where applicable the Registrant’s assisted rate, we will bill at the full cost of the program.
All Programs are subject to change or cancellation due to low enrolment or other unforeseen circumstances that are prohibitive to the operation of the Program. In these cases, you will receive a full refund of your fees paid.
The YMCA further reserves the right not admit or assume responsibility of a participant, if participant’s medical information is not completed and if the authorization is not signed by the parent/guardian and returned to the YMCA prior to the commencement of the registered program.
Any registration that is subsidized through a third-party agency must be submitted two weeks prior to the start of the program that is being requested.
