Description
These classes are for our youngest swimmers (ages 6 months - 2 years) and their adult caregiver. Children will be introduced to fun activities in the water to activate the movements that will eventually lead to swimming. By the end, your child will be comfortable having their face in the water, and will have learned basic movements while being supported. They will also be introduced to gliding, and continue to practice other movements. Through structured activities and play, children will also become comfortable submerging themselves under water. Parents are required to be in the water for all classes. There are up to 8 children in the Splasher/Bubbler class.

This YMCA is located at the heart of one of Toronto's trendiest West End neighborhoods. There's something for everyone at this family-friendly centre featuring child care, camp, community programs, and health and fitness services. Camp programs are available during school breaks throughout the year.

Notes
Swim diapers (reusable or disposable) are required for children who are not fully toilet trained.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND MAKE UP CLASSES
Participants who withdraw from the course more than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a full refund. Participants who withdraw from the course less than 7 days prior to the start of the course will receive a refund less 50% of the course fee. No refunds will be granted once the course has started.
Make up classes will be offered if a class is cancelled by the YMCA. Make up classes are not offered if the child misses a class for personal reasons. Participants who are registered in the wrong level will be withdrawn.
